3楼adj.用的不地道。最后一个it 不用的话是不是感觉好点？

adj"dark and empty"在此可译为“黯淡和空虚”，是地道的文学表达，有据可考。
最后这个复杂句如果没有it就是成分缺失——虽然你感觉可能更好一点，呵呵~~
